I recommend the template and tutorial video above as the "easiest" path to embedding a transparent video. However for those of you who want it you can still download my original more complicated instructions in the "secret html and javascript code snippets modifications for dreamweaver pdf (right click and save pdf). The first template linked to above already has all the modifications to the html and javascript mentioned in the PDF in a more simplified format. Additionally for those of you who want to create transparent video in a dhtml popup layer or so that it scrolls like this example or this example then dhtml popup pro has recently released an addon in their purchases section of their site that makes accomplishing this easy. Notes updates and news on future developments: 1. Previously I recommended people download the trial or purchase Dreamweaver to embed their videos once they have encoded them with an alpha channel. However, by using the new html template I provided above you can simply use the html code, javascript, and player in the template and replace the sample video (from a filming outtake) with your own and change the dimensions to fit your video. 2. I recently released new "trigger player" technology as part of my product line which also includes some very powerful features that can be used with transparent video.
